In the world of performance apparel, launching a best-selling collection isn’t about luck. It’s about intention, technical alignment, and building every component—from fiber to fit—with purpose. At AEM Textile, we partnered with Promise Athletic to do just that. The result? A collection that customers not only loved, but returned for—again and again.

Activewear Collection, It Starts with the Right Fiber

Choosing the right base fiber was the foundation. We selected Polyamide 66 for its exceptional softness, high abrasion resistance, low pilling, long lifecycle, and breathable structure. Its ability to hold vibrant color and maintain integrity under stress made it ideal for an activewear product built to last.

To enhance stretch and recovery, we integrated LYCRA® SPORT technology. The result was a fabric with 4-way stretch exceeding 200%, excellent recovery, zero transparency even under pressure, and a sculpting comfort that elevated the fit experience.

Knitting Structure & Fabric Finish

The fabric’s construction was as intentional as its fiber content. We opted for a warp-knit structure to ensure controlled elasticity, durability, and a stable silhouette. Then, we added a soft brushing to the surface for a slightly matte, silky hand-feel—creating a second-skin texture that’s breathable and luxurious at once.

Selected a Polyamide 66 for its naturally soft hand-feel, excellent abrasion resistance, low pilling, long lifecycle, breathability, and strong color performance. It’s lightweight yet built to last.

To elevate functionality, we incorporated LYCRA® SPORT technology — delivering over 200% 4-way stretch, excellent recovery, sculpting comfort, and full opacity under tension.

We then engineered a warp-knit structure, applied a subtle brushing process, and finished the surface with a silky matte texture. The result was a second-skin fabric that moves with the body, holds its shape, and feels exceptional at every touchpoint.

Then came the color strategy.

From day one, every shade was carefully chosen to align with the brand’s persona clusters — enabling customers to mix and match freely while building their own top-bottom sets across colorways.

We partnered with leading dyehouses to ensure each color met the highest technical and aesthetic standards:

▪️ Exceptional colorfastness (sweat, wash, light)

▪️ pH-balanced dye safety

▪️ Shade consistency across multiple production runs

▪️ No bleeding, fading, or tone shifting

This wasn’t just color — it was brand psychology, fabric chemistry, and long-term planning working in harmony.

//Construction that respects the fabric.

To preserve the integrity and movement of the fabric, we applied minimal stitching, allowing the material to take center stage. The goal was to create something light and effortless, yet deeply intentional, a legging, crop top, sports bra, biker short and t-shirt that felt both simple and significant.

Less distraction; more freedom.

Less complexity; more purpose.

// And the results?

Customers didn’t just like what they bought — they came back for more.

They bought the same styles in alternative colorways.

They referred friends. They upsold themselves. They built their own looks.
